The agriturismo
Old farmhouse located in the Cilento National Park, in the green of centuries-old olive trees, between the sea and the tranquility of the countryside, offers accommodation in original rooms and traditional cuisine with the farm's organic products, gluten-free on request.
The accommodation
The family farmhouse, more than a century old, has been renovated by combining the desire to preserve the identity of the structure with attention to the needs and comfort of the guests.
The structure has three rooms with bathrooms, carefully furnished in poor art, respecting the rural tradition.
The restaurant room accommodates up to 35 people.
The company practices exclusively organic farming (AIAB/ICEA certification)
. The kitchen makes extensive use of the farm's sure-fire products , including cheeses, cured meats, vegetables and fruits and, above all, extra virgin olive oil-present in one of the most prestigious national guides.
The kitchen is, in addition, certified by the Italian Celiac Association and is therefore fully equipped, and completely safe, for what concerns the administration of gluten-free foods.
Activities and surrounding
Set on the top of a hillock, the structure dominates the surrounding valley, enclosed by the green of mountains and hills.
Not far away, the two extraordinary archaeological sites of Paestum and Velia, still show their splendor of Greek colonies intact.
There are many villages to discover, places by the sea or in the hills, where the welcome is always generous and sincere: Acquavella, Casalvelino, Acciaroli, Castellabate, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota, just to name a few. For those who want to encounter a wild and unspoiled nature, walks on Mount Stella or Mount Sacro, Punta Licosa, Punta degli Infreschi can be suggested. A visit to the Caves of the Angel in Pertosa, those of Castelcivita or the Charterhouse of San Lorenzo in Padula, a few dozen kilometers from the farm, can be suggestive.
The agritourism can prove to be a good starting point for discovering other renowned locations in Campania, to be visited with day trips: the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Capri, Naples, Salerno.
For those who want to spend some time relaxing, there are many suggestive corners where they can chat or read a book in the cool of the olive trees, paint, write, and take photographs. At certain times of the year, it is also possible to take part in the farm's agricultural activities : the olive harvest or the simplest search for wild herbs to cook can prove to be a unique and rewarding experience.
