The agriturismo
The agriturismo, which dates to the XV century, has been the summer residence of the Minelli family for over two centuries.
The residence , with its 98 hectares, of the 450 hectares of the fauna-hunting Volta Reno reserve: there are trails (on foot, bike, horse) aimed at showing how renaturalization processes improve the land (forests, bushes, clearings, damp areas).
Outside there are other tourist and cultural itineraries, by bike, car, or motorcycle.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is located at the foot of the master residence, offering respectfully restored rooms, with period pieces, in order to maintain the atmosphere of the place intact.
We also offer a spacious pool, various reunion halls (we host company or university internships), a well-stocked library, a pool table and ping pong table, and parlor games.
Activities and surrounding
Some attractions: Cento (7 km), whose Picture gallery displays works by Guercino, Pieve di Cento (5 km) with its Museo Bargellini (contemporary art), Bologna, Modena and Ferrara (can be reached in 30 minutes). 15 minutes away you may visit the Lamborghini museum and factory and its eco-park. 20 minutes away is the Ducati factory at Borgo Panigale.
Here, we also display a vast selection of devices and equipment from peasant culture. You may also visit the family’s private collection of Amazon objects and a collection of British jeeps and toy cars (Mini).
The educational farm offers scientific, pastime and cultural programs for all ages.
In summer and spring we organize cooking classes, photography courses and jeep excursions.
