The agriturismo
The family run agriturismo is situated on the slope that dominates the three gypsum hills that characterise Brisighella, at just 2 km from the centre of the medieval village.
From the heated swimmimg pool, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the whole valley — from the Tosco-Romagnolo Apennines, from the Tre Colli to the gypsum vein park and ending at the “calanchi” (badlands) typical of the foothills — and sample the farm’s own wines accompanied by tastes and snacks prepared with typical local products.
The accommodation
The apartments offered to guests have been created from the old hay barn; the breakfast room is surrounded by pines and kiwi trees.
The 4 bedrooms and 2 apartments boast all comforts and are situated next to the owners’ house, where they have been resident for many generations. Guests are offered a large heated swimming pool, with whirlpool, and a kids’ area.
Activities and surrounding
Brisighella is a medieval village, known as one of Italy’s most beautiful; it is a slow food city in a location within easy reach of Florence, also by train, Faenza and its famous Ceramic Museum, Ravenna and its places of historical and cultural interest, Bologna and the whole Adriatic riviera.
Just a short distance away is the Mirabilandia fun park, as well as 2 golf courses and an ultra modern spa facility at Riolo Terme, partnered with the agriturismo.
Car and motorbike fans can visit the Imola and Mugello racing circuits. Fantastic mountain bike excursions, which can be rented in the town, or hiking trails of all levels. The town is host to events and festivals with food and wine themes from spring through to autumn, highlighting the area’s special vocation for hospitality, good food and fine wine.
