Parco di Montebello is an estate of about 100 hectares of unspoiled nature, nestled in the green Matildic Hills, and a short distance from Reggio Emilia and Parma, whose land has been cultivated in organic farming since 1996.
Inside are two stone farmhouses, renovated using traditional local materials and seeking naturalness and understated elegance in finishes and furnishings.
The estate is crisscrossed by paths of different types and lengths: along the ridge, the gullies, the small lakes, the stream, and through the woods.
In the "Little Farmhouse" there are 5 spacious and well-equipped rooms (Matilda, Gregory VII, Henry IV, Beatrice and Bonifacio), all of which have a desk, closet, air conditioning, mosquito nets, mini-bar, TV, hair dryer. The building is located at the entrance to the estate, near the creek. From here you can walk along the stream and up the woods, or along the estate's internal road to the "Big House" and the small lakes.
Matilde
The room inspired by Matilda of Canossa, ruler of these territories around the year 1000, conveys all the elegance and royalty that were characteristic of the countess. The soft tones of ochre and brown, the wooden ceiling and the large south-facing window create a cozy and intimate environment in which to spend a relaxing stay.

Gregory VII
The room is dedicated to the character of Pope Gregory VII, a leading figure in the famous Canossa meeting with the excommunicated Emperor Henry IV who came to Italy seeking forgiveness. The style of the room reflects his power, with a regal, solid-wood king-size bed being the main feature of this room.
The room is 30 square meters in size and has:
Henry IV
Room dedicated to Henry IV, Duke of Bavaria and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire as well as cousin of Matilda of Canossa and hosted by her on the occasion of her meeting with Pope Gregory VII. The room has simple and elegant lines and is characterized by shades of gray and brown. It offers you two bright windows and a wide wooden beam ceiling.

Beatrice
This cozy room is inspired by Beatrice of Lorraine, mother of Matilda of Canossae and duchess of Lower Lorraine. With its large window overlooking the courtyard and high wooden beam ceiling, this room features light colors and ochre tones to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere.

Bonifacio
The room is inspired by the figure of Bonifacio III of Canossa, who, father of Matilda of Canossa and marquis and duke of Tuscany, was one of the most powerful lords of his time. The soft colors and east-facing view make the room perfect for a relaxing break. The room is complete with private wheelchair-friendly access.

Guests can relax in the outdoor areas and in the glassed-in "tea&coffee" room.
At the highest part of the colilna is the largest farmhouse, the location for events, around which it is possible to enjoy the view on the benches of the belvedere near the ponds and walk the surrounding paths.
The trails lend themselves to both short walks and longer treks, on foot or by mountain bike, on gravel, dirt, or woodland paths. From the main trail, one can connect to other surveyed trails that connect the estate with Canossa Castle and other locations.
On the Montebello Park estate there is all the space and services needed to organize private events in customized solutions: it is possible to choose the rooms and outdoor areas according to the number of guests and preferences.
The farmhouse can also be booked on an exclusive basis, for groups of about 30 to 200 people, to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions. All rooms are air-conditioned summer/winter and accessible to the disabled.
In the estate you will have the services for the organization of the event: catering with customized menus, set-up, wire broadcasting system, musical entertainment, parking assistance and shuttle service.
In the courtyard next to the "Little Farmhouse" is a traditional family-run restaurant , open for lunch and dinner. There are other pleasant restaurants within a few minutes' drive.
The Montebello Park estate is ideal for organizing all kinds of corporate events: meetings and conventions, training and seminars, training and team building, corporate and gala dinners and parties. The spacious indoor and outdoor spaces can be set up and made available flexibly, even partially, depending on the dynamics of the event and the final number of participants. With the support of the experienced staff and partners, customized impressive events can be planned and managed. The location is about 20 minutes from the Reggio Emilia and Campegine/Terre di Canossa highway exits, surrounded by nature and with a panoramic view of the Emilian hills. All rooms are air conditioned winter/summer and accessible to the disabled. The different rooms can be used for different functions according to their characteristics.
The Antico Fienile Hall (1st floor, 220 sqm) can be used for meetings or lunch/dinner catering.
The facilities available in this hall are:
TheOld Barn, (ground floor, 135 sq. m.) can be used as a training room or for table or buffet lunch/dinner, coffee breaks, aperitif and can accommodate 80-100 people. The outdoor hall, the Barchessa, (100 sq. m.) can also be used for meetings, trainings or coffee breaks or aperitif, with a capacity of 50-70 people.
