Via Isonzo km 5,300 , Borgo Grappa 04100 Latina (Latina)
The Ganci family produces genuine and authentic wine , and the winery can be considered a small museum, a bridge between ancient and modern. Founded in the early 1950s by brothers Antonino and Vincenzo Ganci, the estate is currently run by Vincenzo's daughter Laura and her husband Giuseppe, who carry on the family tradition of winemakers by combining experience, innovation and respect for the environment.
In the picturesque setting of the Circeo National Park and close to the sea, this estate has also been transformed into a farmhouse to welcome guests who wish to immerse their senses in the world of oenology and nature.
Immersed in the tranquility of the countryside, two apartments offer the ideal solution for those who want to spend a few days in contact with nature: Aurora has a double bedroom and a single bed, while Tramonto has a double bedroom and a triple bedroom with three single beds; both have a large dining room with kitchen, bathroom and a beautiful garden with gazebo.
It offers the possibility to range between dinners and musical evenings, aperitifs and tastings at km 0, guided tours and events (in winter in the charming cellar and in summer outdoors), or to spend relaxing moments reading a book or admiring the panoramic view of Lake Fogliano or the Circeo Promontory.
Bike rentals and achildren's play area complete the offer.
Always open, the store is the privileged meeting place with customers, where they can buy Ganci wines in bulk and in bottles, along with extra virgin olive oil, seasonal vegetables and fruits, honey, wine jellies and jams: all from organic farming and produced within the estate. In addition, thanks to collaboration with small local companies, the range of genuine products is enriched with cereals, legumes, cheeses, pâtés, mushrooms, saffron, cookies and typical sweets.
Well-marked trails depart from the estate for the farm pond (where sport fishing is available), Fogliano Lake and the sea. The surroundings lend themselves to hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, diving, hunting, golf and tennis.
The area is full of interesting destinations, including the Circeo National Park (the only natural lowland forest visible in Italy), medieval towns and archaeological areas, Sabaudia, Circeo, Terracina, Fondi, Sperlonga, and Gaeta, on one of the most beautiful coastlines in Lazio.
Suggestive is the Duna Litoranea of fine sand that occupies 25 km. Next to it is a wetland area with 4 coastal lakes (di Paola, di Caprolace, dei Monaci and di Fogliano) and several "pools," seasonally filled by rainwater. The area is crucial for migratory birds and rare species.
Easy access to the Pontine Islands and protected marine areas(Ponza, Palmarola, Zannone, Gavi, Ventotene and S. Stefano).
