Strada Provinciale Verentana, 01010 Capodimonte (Viterbo)
A stone's throw from the beautiful village of Capodimonte, in Alta Tuscia on the slopes of Mount Bisenzio, in an area marked by the Etruscan civilization and bathed by Lake Bolsena, stands the Bisenzio farmhouse. Family-run, it operates on stable, enduring and healthy principles handed down from the grandparents with love and a sense of belonging.
Breakfast is an opportunity to enjoy homemade doughnuts or tarts with jams made from the farm's fruit. In the restaurant you can enjoy typical cuisine and the thin, crispy and highly digestible house pizza.
The farmhouse offers 2 apartments, 9 rooms and a large TV room, suitable for recreational and relaxing moments. From the large panoramic balcony you can admire the surrounding nature and the Capodimonte promontory, washed by the lake.
The rooms are all with private bath and TV:

The village is ideally located for visiting picturesque places within a few kilometers:
- Viterbo, the city of the Popes: with the intact medieval historic center and the charming district of S. Pellegrino. Visit Piazza S. Lorenzo and the Monumental Complex Colle del Duomo (Palace of the Popes, Cathedral San Lorenzo and museum). Viterbo is famous for the Transportation of the Machine of St. Rose, the patron saint: on September 3, a 30-meter bell tower is carried on the shoulders of more than 100 porters amid the admiration of the crowd. The town is home to the ancient thermal baths, mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy: the water from the Bullicame spring reaches 58 C°, with excellent therapeutic qualities.
- Bomarzo "The Park of Monsters": with distant origins, the park is home to imaginative and grotesque sculptures; the most interesting monuments are the work of Vicino Orsini.
- Bagnaia: known for the 16th-century Villa Lante, built to a design attributed to Vignola, with its two symmetrical palaces, Italianate garden and imaginative water play, it constitutes one of the most significant creations of the late Italian Renaissance.
- Tuscania and Tarquinia: the most important Etruscan cities, where numerous finds are now on display at the National Archaeological Museum in Tuscania and the Museo Nazionale Tarquiniense in Tarquinia.
- Civita di Bagnoreggio: the "Dying City" overlooks the Valle dei Calanchi and the scenery offered forms one of the most extraordinary and unique landscapes in Italy. The village, now inhabited by a few dozen people, can only be reached by a bridge that can be walked across. Visiting Civita makes tourists enter a fascinating and almost surreal dimension.
Other destinations include Orvieto, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana.
