Strada Cassia Cimina, km 17,550, 01032 Caprarola (Viterbo)
Nestled at the heart of the Lago di Vico Nature Reserve, the agriturismo is the result of an ambitious project by its young owner Federico Ferrari: after discovering an old ruin and 3500 meters of surrounding land, he decided to give the property a new lease of life whilst also respecting the unspoilt, wild nature.
Six apartments equipped with every comfort, a true home from home, in a setting where the dominant colour is certainly green, with the exception of the saltwater pool, where guests can swim in beautiful blue, surrounded by a manicured English lawn.
A little corner of paradise run by the Ferrari family, in a hilly spot which every evening enjoys beautiful sunsets which caress the soul along with the gentle ponente wind.
The six self-catering apartments, with kitchenettes, suites, double bedrooms and private bathrooms, are all furnished with care and attention.
The salt water pool has a waterfall and whirlpool, a picnic area, a children's playground, a tennis court, hammocks and much more. Set in a soft lawn that serves as a solarium for relaxation.
Following in the footsteps of the ancient Etruscans, through landscapes and amidst architecture that will take your breath away, the Bassa Tuscia region offers a whole host of wonderful attractions: the stunning Lake Vico, volcanic in origin; Lakes Bolsena and Bracciano; Viterbo (18 km) – City of Popes with its famous spa centre and enchanting historic centre; Caprarola and Bagnaia with the Palazzo Farnese and Villa Lante, Italian Renaissance pearls; Bomarzo with the magical Park of the Monsters; Bagnoregio, the dying city and the wonderful landscapes of the Treja valley. Rome is around 55 km away.
