Via Magnadorsa, 114, Magnadorsa 60011 Arcevia (Ancona)
The agriturismo is located on the “Arceviese” road, along an ancient salt transportation route leading from Senigallia to Perugia, surrounded by the lush green Marche hills.
The property was completely renovated in 2011, preserving the original structure of the old staging post.
The agriturismo is part of an educational farm where visitors can learn about the resident animals (donkeys, sheep, goats, horses, barnyard animals, llamas and deer), with children's educational activities and workshops for schools also available (making cheese, bread, etc.).
The agriturismo offers 3 apartments in classic country style, with features in keeping with the original structure (wooden beams, terracotta paving and exposed brick), using a selection of recycled materials. The apartments include bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, kitchens and independent heating, as well as offering beautiful views.
The agriturismo also includes a restaurant (where you can still see the rings used to tether the horses), offering homemade cuisine prepared using local, seasonal produce, as well as ample outdoor space with gardens, olive groves, vegetable gardens, a small children’s play area and the educational farm.
In summer guests can dine outdoors, enjoying the views of the surrounding hills.
The surrounding area is home to several medieval villages which have maintained all of their original charm, as well as beautiful green hills to explore.
A few km from the agriturismo you’ll find the commune of Arcevia, with its ten castles, museums, theatres, churches and convents to discover. Arcevia's natural attractions include its gardens and the views from its terraces.
