The agriturismo
In an age old structure just outside the Monti Sibillini National Park, the agriturismo stands nestled in the Marche countryside and offers wholesome produce, traditional local dishes, a warm family welcome and Arte Povera style rooms.
Guests can purchase farm produce and tour the educational farm.
The accommodation
The peaceful, relaxing accommodation is spread over several buildings surrounded by greenery; all rooms have their own bathrooms and include bed linen and towels.
In the restaurant, guests can enjoy typical Marche dishes, prepared using strictly the farm’s own produce, such as “coratella d'agnello”, or lamb's innards, vincisgrassi baked pasta, fried lamb, delicacies prepared with truffle, mushrooms, vegetables or Varnelli (dry anise produced on site), or even chocolate salami.
Activities and surrounding
The surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot or by bicycle. 600 metres away you’ll find the town of Pievebovigliana, home to the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta church, the XXII century Romanesque crypt, the Raffaele Campelli Museum, the weaving and honey workshops and the Varnelli distillery.
Within a 20 km radius you’ll find Camerino, Visso (home to the seat of the Monti Sibillini National Park) and Caldarola, a city known for its castles.
Macerata is 45 km away, while 45 minutes takes you to the sea at Civitanova Marche, and Loreto, Assisi, Cascia, Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Frasassi Caves are all within an hour.
