The agriturismo

At the center of an active farm of more than 100 ha, surrounded by woods and wheat fields, Chignoni is in Apecchio, on the borders of Umbria and Tuscany.

The bioagriturismo looks like a small, perfectly restored rural hamlet, where you feel in close contact with nature.

Organic and biodynamic farming is done on the estate, and healthy animals are raised. There is a pond with ducks, a stream with the Gorgaccia Waterfall.

It is possible to taste delicious farm products.

The accommodation

The renovated cottage is divided into 3 apartments overlooking the woods surrounding the property. Each unit has a separate entrance, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and, outside, barbecue areas equipped with independent tables and chairs.

Some apartments can be joined to accommodate families and large groups. Laundry facilities are also available free of charge.

In detail:

Cerro Vecchio: on the ground floor, includes living room with kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with shower, sitting room.

Montalto: consists of a large living room with period fireplace , large kitchen, 3 large double rooms, 2 bathrooms with shower.

Gorgaccia: on two floors, consists of a large living room with antique fireplace , large kitchen, 2 living rooms, 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower.

The farm has a charming stone tavern with arches where it is possible to organize meetings, dinners, birthdays and events.

All guests have at their disposal: a large 6x12-meter swimming pool with solarium area overlooking the surrounding hills ; achildren's play area; independent barbecue areas and free mountain bikes.

Activities and surrounding

A short distance from Apecchio are many places of historical/artistic interest.Among these are: Urbino, Gubbio, Città di Castello, San Sepolcro, Arezzo.

Also easily accessible are Mount Nerone and the beaches of Fano and Pesaro.

Guests can also go hiking in the surrounding woods in search of mushrooms and truffles.
