The agriturismo
Near Urbino, on a large working organic farm surrounded by rolling hills and peace and quiet, the agriturismo stands in a region rich in wildlife and age old oak trees, still protected today as they were in the days of the Montefeltro Dukes.
The accommodation
The farm is managed with special attention to the environment and the well-being of guests: all rooms are acoustically and thermally insulated, heated with renewable energy, and the water is softened. All electricity is produced by photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs of the barn and hayloft. There are three guest apartments: Casina dei Cavalli with a double bedroom and bathroom, next to the pool; Casina dei Tordi with a double bedroom and bathroom, 500 meters from the pool; and Casina Nuova with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (with the possibility of a third bed) and two bathrooms, 500 meters from the pool.
All apartments have private outdoor spaces, mosquito nets on the windows, kitchens complete with dishwasher, oven and everything needed for cooking, and comfortable bathrooms with washing machine.

Activities and surrounding
At the farmhouse, guests can relax in the relaxation area with a swimming pool, search for truffles, and participate in guided tours of local producers' wineries.
Cooking classes are offered at Valle Nuova. Two or three different dishes and a dessert are usually prepared. The easy but appetizing recipes will be easy to replicate at home. The course can be combined with truffle hunting or foraging, depending on the season. The cooking class is followed by a luncheon where dishes prepared by the guests themselves will be enjoyed.
Foraging is very popular in the Marche countryside. It is not strange to see entire families in the fields with bags and baskets collecting seasonal wild vegetables, asparagus, berries, mushrooms and edible flowers.
The farm is happy to take guests on a walk to collect (and recognize) all the edible delicacies that nature provides for free. Of course, this activity is highly seasonal.
The king of wild foods is the truffle. In the Acqualagna area (the largest truffle market in Italy) it grows year-round. There are four different varieties in these woods that can grow throughout most of the year, including the precious white truffle. The facility is happy to arrange a walk with the neighbor and his dog to show guests how to find this precious mushroom. Truffle hunting is seasonal, please inquire.
Willow, wood, straw, plants-every possible natural material can be used to weave baskets, chairs , and utensils. Courses can be adapted for everyone: from absolute beginners to experienced weavers interested in specific local techniques or forms.
