Via Flaminia 124, Rosciano 61032 Fano (Pesaro e Urbino) Code
Elegant agriturismo offering accommodation in three separate outbuildings of an old aristocratic villa, on a 10-hectare estate with age-old olive trees cultivated using organic agriculture methods. The proximity of the serviced beaches in Fano, just 5 km away, makes it an ideal place for those who want a holiday in contact with nature and at the same time the pleasures of a seaside resort.
The Villa offers hospitality in the five rooms on the main floor, with breakfast service. The dépendeaces, instead, are perfectly equipped for those who prefer an overnight service only.
The Antica Scuderia is on two floors: it has a fireplace and a wood-burning oven, direct access to the large garden, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Villino Belvedere is newly built, on one floor. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with Jacuzzi. It has a loggia of 60 sqm well furnished with garden furniture and enjoys a splendid panoramic view over the city of Fano and its sea. The house is surrounded by a large garden for exclusive use. The farmhouse, recently renovated, is divided into three flats: Minerva, a three-room apartment (two bedrooms) with a garden adorned with centuries-old olive trees, which is accessed directly via a small wooden bridge; Bacco, another three-room apartment (two bedrooms) which stands where there was once the cellar where the wine was stored in barrels and Cerere, a two-room apartment (one bedroom) located on the side of the house where there was once the bread oven.
All the structures have air conditioning, TV, very high speed Wi-Fi connection.
Guests can relax beside a large pool purified with ozone, enjoy the benefits of ozone therapy thanks to massages in the two large jacuzzis located on the sun terrace, sit in the shade of an old Lebanon cedar or walk slowly though age-old olive groves.
Guests not wanting to move too far away can go walking or mountain biking in the splendid surrounding hills, perhaps going as far as to visit the Camaldoli Hermitage, or enjoy a game of tennis or golf at the courts and courses nearby (1 km). The Adriatic sea is 5 km away, with beaches that have won Blue Flag awards for their high quality for years, where it is possible to go sailing, windsurfing or play beach volleyball etc.
Fano is a very little-known gem, and surprises visitors with its town centre and the events it holds. Many types of excursions are possible: historical/artistic (Urbino, Pesaro, the rocks in Gradara, San Leo and Mondavio, the bronze sculptures in Pergola), natural (San Bartolo Park, Furlo Pass, until reaching the caves in Frasassi in the nearby Esino valley), recreational (nightclubs and amusement parts in the nearby Riviera Romagnola, health-related (Terme di Carignano spa centre), religious (from the monastery in Fonte Avellana to the nearby Sanctuary of Loreto) and food-related (from the sea in Fan with its ‘brodetto’ fish soup and ‘moretta’ coffee laced with liqueur) inland to Acqualagna with its truffles, passing through Cartoceto, with its extra virgin olive oil and ‘formaggio di fossa’ cheese, and Urbino, with its ‘casciotta’ cheese.
