The area offers its visitors relaxing walks surrounded by nature, and numerous villages of historical significance are located nearby. The location is ideal to reach in a short time both the beaches of the Adriatic coast, which are only 20 minutes away, and to visit the cities of art and small towns of medieval origin, in which many events evocative of local culture and traditions take place. The structure is in fact part of a unique territory, rich in art and eno-gastronomic tradition: Le Marche.
A land of history and art, surrounded by greenery in the center of Italy, a place of ancient traditions and hospitality.
Between small, intensely cultivated plains, splendid sandy and rocky coasts of great naturalistic interest(Monte Conero Natural Park, San Bartolo Park) lapped by the Adriatic Sea and unspoiled green mountains that characterize the innermost part (Monte Catria and Sibillini Natural Park) and conceal incredible natural beauty (Frassassi Caves and Furlo Gorges).
The landscape that most characterizes the region is the wide hilly area, consisting almost entirely of a polychrome mosaic of cultivated fields, on which stand ancient villages and medieval castles that allow tourists to travel through the history of the ancient civilizations of the Romans and Picenes who settled in the territory.
In the Valley of the Cesano River it is possible to take a quick itinerary full of surprises: three kilometers from the Agriturismo "Villa Beatrice" one discovers Mondavio, a small Medieval jewel, whose Rocca Roveresca fortress constitutes an authentic masterpiece of military art by the Sienese Francesco di Giorgio Martini. Situated on the southern side of the Cesano Valley, 7 kilometers from our agritourism lies Corinaldo, a village of medieval layout surrounded by imposing walls among the best preserved in the Marche region.
Continuing toward the mountains we find Fratte Rosa with its splendid Convent, a locality famous for the working of terra cotta, and again Castelleone di Suasa, born near the ancient Roman City of Suasa, an archaeological park of considerable interest. Not to be missed is Pergola, which boasts the important heritage of the Golden Bronzes, and then the imposing Frontone Castle and finally at the foot of Mount Catria the famous Camaldolese monastery of Fonte Avellana.
No less interesting from a cultural point of view are the nearby cities along the coast that attract lovers of the sea and nightlife: Senigallia with its velvet beach, Fano an ancient Roman city, Pesaro the provincial capital and birthplace of the musician Gioacchino Rossini, in whose honor the famous "Rossini Opera Festival" is held every year. Finally among the best-known art cities in Europe is Urbino with its splendid Ducal Palace, one of the most interesting architectural and artistic examples of the entire Italian Renaissance. The palace is home to the National Gallery of the Marches, and is distinctive for the small towers that border its rear.
The House of Raphael is located on the street of the same name, at number 57. Here you can admire a fresco of his youth, as well as the rooms and furnishings of the house where the famous painter lived.
Of particular interest is the monastery of Santa Chiara, which saw the intervention of the famous Sienese architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini. For those who love good food, Marche cuisine offers a variety of excellent dishes made of genuine ingredients and elaborated according to tradition, accompanied by excellent white and red wines (verdicchio, Rosso Conero, Vernaccia etc.).
The quiet life, good food and healthy climate make Marche the Italian region where people live the longest.
