The agriturismo

Located at the start of the Montferrat hills, the agriturismo is a farmhouse from the end of the 1800s, renovated according to zero-CO2 green building guidelines: the heating and cooling systems use heat pumps with geothermal probes run using electricity produced by the solar panels in the roof.

Barbera, Chardonnay and Pinot Nero and Grigio vines surround the house, yielding the grapes used to produce red, white and spumante wines (Martinotti-Charmat and traditional methods).

The accommodation

Guest accommodation is provided in a one-room apartment and a two-room apartment, each with fully-equipped kitchens, as well as rooms with bathrooms, TVs and Wi-Fi, featuring restored antique furnishings with a stripped finish.

 

The farm also offers a relaxation room, a breakfast room, a restaurant with an exposed brick barrel vault ceiling, a meeting room with projector, screen and black-out blinds, and a swimming pool with infinity edge and hill views.  The complex is also covered by CCTV.

 

Prepared using locally sourced high quality ingredients, the traditional Piedmont dishes have been skilfully revisited by the farm's chef, Andrea Ribaldone.

 

Activities and surrounding

Casale Monferrato is home to monuments and churches of enormous historic and artistic interest, and each month the city also plays host to an antiques market with more than 100 exhibitors, as well as an organic produce market.

The Crea Sanctuary, around 15 km away, is a popular destination for both tourists and pilgrims, while the farm's immediate surroundings are the perfect place for a pleasant stroll, with castles and characteristic hamlets to

The surroundings are beautiful, the house is nicely furnished, the pool top, the breakfast typically Italian, and the staff friendly.
