The agriturismo
A few kilometers from Asti, among the hills of Monferrato, the Crotin 1897 wine-growing and agritourism farm is born. Surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut groves, it allows its guests to spend pleasant vacations in absolute tranquility.
The farmhouse has 4 rooms furnished in the Piedmontese peasant tradition.
The activity is mainly based on the production of D.O.C. wines from the farm's vineyards and cultivated following the rules of eco-friendly agriculture.
The accommodation
The 4 rooms bear the names of the grape varieties found in the farm's vineyards.
The Freisa room and the Barbera room are the two double rooms, furnished with antique furniture (solid wood and wrought iron) and carefully restored. Both have an area reserved for the living room, where you can relax and devote yourself to reading.
The Bonarda room and the Malvasia room each feature two single beds, and are also tastefully furnished, trying to maintain the rustic style of yesteryear.
All rooms have heating system , wireless internet and private bathroom.
Activities and surrounding
While staying at the farm, guests can enjoy various types of activities (swimming pool, hiking). During the summer/autumn season it is also possible to participate in truffle hunting.
Nearby it is also possible to fish and go horseback riding, or you can immerse yourself in the tranquility of the landscapes and hills of Monferrato, visit cities rich in art and history (the farm is 13 km from Asti, 20 from Alba, 45 from Turin) or even get involved in the many festivals and food and wine festivals that the area offers.
