The agriturismo
Less than 2 km from Oristano, 3 km from the sea, and very close to the beaches of the Sinis-Mal di Ventre Protected Marine Area, the agriturismo has been a part of the farm of the same name since 2004, managed by Regina and her husband Rino, who offer their guests traditional local cuisine, skilfully prepared using the farm’s own produce (oil, wine, vegetables and meat).
The accommodation
Nestled among greenery, the property offers 6 bright and airy, comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TVs, fridges and hairdryers. Meals are served in the spacious dining room.
For breakfast, you can enjoy homemade flans and jams, prepared using fruit grown on the farm (peaches, plums, melons, figs, blackberries and more).
Activities and surrounding
Cabras is a lagoon town with 32 km of coastline, mostly comprising white quartz sand. The region is ideal for excursions – on foot, by bike and by kayak – as well as diving, snorkelling and birdwatching, but there’s also much to discover in the way of culture. You can visit the Phoenician-Punic city of Tharros and the Giovanni Marongiu civic museum, home to the statues of the giants of Mont'e Prama, which date back to between the ninth and eleventh century BC (they are thought to be among the oldest statues in the Mediterranean basin).
