The agriturismo
The agritourism Terra Noas is located on the northern slope of Mount Arci at an altitude of 300 meters.The farm is 3 km from the town of Villaurbana and 15 km from Oristano, set in anaturalistic context characterized by Mediterranean scrub with a prevalence of tall holm oak trees.
The accommodation
Accommodation is offered in 11 air-conditioned rooms, with different types, from 2 up to 7 beds. They have TV, Wifi and a private bathroom with shower.
The farmhouse has a dining room and a meeting room for recreational and conference activities that can accommodate up to 300 people. There is also a kitchen, a multi-purpose workshop, also used for courses, especially bread and pasta making,
A family-run milling business is conducted with a stone grist mill in operation since 1920.
There is a stable on the farm with a total of 7 horse stalls.
Activities and surrounding
Various workshops can be held at the farm, both food and environmental, such as learning about theMediterranean flora :the area is rich in nature trails to be traveled on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.
In the dintories of the area there are several visitable nuraghi (Turriu, Bau Mendula Bidella Craddaxius), in the town of Villaurbana it is possible to visit the bread museum and several activities of homemade bread production as well as the mill with the stone millstone.
About 15 minutes from the facility are the Obsidian Museum, theGiara Plateau characterized by the presence Cavallino della Giara, a protected endemic species.About 20 minutes away we find the megalithic nuraghe of Barumini "Su Nuraxi" recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, the Roman baths of Fordongianus characterized by volcanic thermal waters rich in sulfur, which flow into the Tirso River that originates from Europe's largest artificial lake, Lake Omodeo.
Also about 20 minutes away are located the most beautiful beaches of the Oristanese area, which from CapoSan Marco to Capo Mannu and then continuing to Bosa characterize the territory with immenseexpanses of free beaches, some of the most famous like that of San Giovanni del Siniswhere there arethe ruins of Tharros, to those of Is Arutas, characterized by quartz crystals of different colors.
