The agriturismo
Nestled in the countryside of San Giovanni Suergiu, in the province of Carbonia-Iglesias, the agriturismo stands at the heart of the Sulcis-Inglesiente, the result of the careful redevelopment of a large farm covering 264 hectares, established in the 1950s.
The accommodation buildings have been skilfully renovated to preserve the original architecture of the place.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in 9 rooms - single, twin, triple and quadruple – with private bathrooms, all air conditioned, with Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs and independent entrances. One room has been adapted for disabled guests.
The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, is air conditioned and features large wooden trusses and patio doors opening on to the loggia, with views of the pine grove. Here you can enjoy typical local cuisine, prepared using delicious produce from the farm’s own crops and animals. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menus are also available upon request.
There is a children’s play area in the garden.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is centrally located among the beaches of the Basso Sulcis and Porto Pino, and the archaeological sites of Sant'Antioco and Montessu. The town centre is just 3 km away, while 6 km takes you to the sea, and 10 km to Sant'Antioco Island.
Guests can also get involved in farm life, taking part in harvesting and processing the produce, with guided tours of the farm and the workshops available for you to discover the production of milk, cheese, bread, desserts and wool.
