The agriturismo
Not far from the beautiful beaches of Costa Rey and Villasimius, the agriturismo offers relaxation and delicious buffet breakfasts, with genuine products, homemade jams and homemade cakes.
The family-run farm is now half a century old and is dedicated toraising sheep, pigs, goats, cattle and poultry, and producing fruit, vegetables, oil and wine.
The accommodation
The rooms, located on the ground floor with private entrance, all have a bath, air conditioning, blow dryer and fridge.
At the heart of the agriturismo there’s a dining hall with a spacious covered veranda, great for breakfasts with authentic food. In fact, the products we grow are used in the menu, with delicious local ingredients: antipasti with cold meats, veggies and cheese, homemade pasta, meat from our farm, fruit and veggies from our patch and Sardinian cakes, plus white and red wine, liquors and coffee.
Activities and surrounding
Our agriturismo is found in a well-serviced area: 3 km away, at Camisa, you’ll find a bar, market, post office, church, bakery and cheese factory; at Olia Speciosa (4 km away), a bank with ATM, post office, market, pharmacy, doctor, clothes store, pizzeria and stables; at San Priamo (5 km away), gas station, fish market and 11th-century shrine. At Feraxi (6 km away), sports fishing; Castiadas (10 km away) hosts the Museo del Territorio, located inside a former prison from the 19th century.
From the beaches you can take boat rides along the coast (Costa Rei), go diving, rent boats, bikes and quads, park your boat (Porto corallo and Villasimius). Nearby you can also go horse riding, excursions to the nearby Parco dei Sette Fratelli, full of forests with deer, board, eagles. The area is a considerable archaeological heritage with nuraghi, sacred wells, domus de janas, menhir and giant tombs plus in the nearby lakes you’ll admire pink flamingos, white herons, and many other birds…
