Località S'Ortu de Coccu, 09010 Gonnesa (South Sardinia)
In the Sulcis Iglesiente, a region rich in history, mining archaeology and stunning beaches, this family-run agriturismo was established in 1996, and exudes passion for animals and nature.
The typical Sardinian cuisine is prepared using ingredients from the farm itself: ravioli and stuffed pasta made with fresh ricotta cheese and seasonal vegetables; mixed grilled meats from animals bred and raised on the farm, and fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. The traditional Sardinian desserts are not to be missed: seadas fritters with typical sweet cheese and honey from local beekeepers, fried ricotta and saffron mini ravioli, topped off the inevitable mirto, grappa or limoncello, all produced on the farm.
Guest accommodation is provided in airy, comfortable double rooms (with space for extra child beds) and two apartments with multiple bedrooms to suit your needs.
Breakfast and other meals are served in a cosy, bright lounge, which is warm in winter and cool in summer, with rustic wooden furniture.
The agriturismo team can offer trekking through the nature of the Sulcis, excursions on foot to Norman and San Giovanni Miniera, horseback excursions, and dinghy trips to explore caves and bays in cobalt-blue sea, along the coast of South West Sardinia, from Porto Flavia to the Grotta del Soffione, the Grotta Sardegna and the Baia dei Faraglioni...
