The agriturismo
Old 19th century farmhouse on the southern slopes of Mount Etna, in an absolutely privileged position: 2 km from the village of Ragalna but also surrounded by a magnificent forest of ancient trees where the seasons are really lived with different and magnificent colors. The landscape is unique: from Etna to the Simeto river valley with its villages and from here to the sea and the city of Syracuse. The farmhouse is located in an old farmhouse, in the middle of a beautiful private park of 20 hectares in the Etna Park.
The accommodation
In the rooms of the agriturismo, art is not only hung on the walls, but the rooms themselves are works of art. Oriente** is a double room with a romantic four-poster bed, it recalls the atmosphere and the culture left by the Arabs in Sicily. Only Wood** is a room made with only wood, from the loft with its balcony to the original furniture made of unique pieces using local woods: chestnut, broom, vine and oak. **Summer** is the suite dedicated to the art of painting and ceramics, and to the colours of the countryside. Painters and ceramists have created a landscape that spreads around in all directions: from the original floor with the leaves carried by the wind, to the roof, to the walls with the pergola of grapes or sunflowers in the background of the volcano. Il Sogno e la Pietra** is an independent room with direct access to the panoramic terrace, dedicated to the working of stone, one of the most important forms of craftsmanship of the people of Etna. The black lava stone of Etna, the white marble of Ragusa and the yellow sandstone of Syracuse have been used to compose a work of great suggestion, where the guest will find a truly unique environment for a journey beyond all horizons.
Activities and surrounding
Boscoscuro offers its guests a restaurant, with an excellent quality/price ratio, where only the freshest local products are served. The structure represents not only the ideal starting point for the main tourist destinations of eastern Sicily (Etna, Taormina, Catania, Syracuse, Noto, Etnaland Park, etc.) but also allows you to get to know an important part of the history and nature of Etna with short walks. Among these, for example: at 1 km the volcanic cone of Monte Arso of 500 B.C. and at the same distance the "Grotta Catanese", the largest cave on Etna.

The structure is very nice, still have to finish some work (eg. swimming pool) that when they are finished I'm sure will make it difficult not to give a full 10 to this farm.
