The agriturismo
We are very close to the Etna, near Giarre. We offer hospitality on a 19th-century residence, with 12 hectares of citrus grove, organic certified in 2012, where we grow Navel oranges, Nova mandarins, lemons and pomegranates. We also own a strip of land nearby with olive grove, citrus trees, almond and pear trees.
The sea, between Catania and Taormina, makes this place perfect for a vacation in nature in one of Sicily’s most beautiful areas.
The accommodation
The owners warmly and cordially welcome guests: you may book B&B style. Our breakfasts are hearty, with sweet and salty food, plus cold meats, cheese, grains, jams (homemade).
We offer 5 comfortable rooms and a mini flat. The rooms have period pieces, with private bath and shower, blow dryer, heating, desk, TV, air conditioned .
You may savor and buy our products: orange and lemon jam, extra virgin olive oil, almonds, fresh fruit (oranges, pears, mandarins, lemons).
Activities and surrounding
Eastern Sicily is full of wonders, starting with the Etna, the highest active volcano on the European continent. Many attractions to see: natural reserves, hamlets and towns with a rich past like Taormina (Greek theater), Catania with its homes in lava stone, temples in the Anapo valley, the extraordinary baroque art in Acireale.
The land is rich in certified products: almonds, pistachios, oil, honey, citrus, prickly pears. Without forgetting very fresh fish and wines from the Etna.
