A farmhouse where spending your holidays means making a journey through the flavours, traditions and smells of Sicily. A place that absorbs the atmosphere of the surrounding countryside of Catania and returns it intact, giving situations of absolute relaxation to its guests.
The accommodation
Sun, nature and a lot of tranquillity: these are the elements that give life to a farmhouse immersed in the green of the countryside, among olive groves and orange trees. Guests are welcomed in an old farmhouse, once home to men and women dedicated to the work of this land rich in traditions, smells, tastes, unique in the world. Today, completely renovated, the farmhouse is the fulcrum of the entire structure from which long lava stone paths connect the different areas, from the swimming pool to the playground for children, from the old well to the lodgings immersed in the green of the estate.
Each room is a small house built and furnished according to the style of the place to revive in every detail the Sicilian culture and tradition; they are ideal for romantic or family stays. A place where the green of the olive trees, the red of the oranges, the yellow of the lemons fade into the arid colours of the land in the distance surrounded by the intense blue of the sky that further on, beyond the hills, merges with the infinite blue of the sea. Hospitality, professionalism, quality and the continuous tendency to improve are the strengths of the company.
The farmhouse offers its guests the products of the land, combined according to the recipes of a never forgotten tradition. Sicilian cuisine is linked to the history of its territory, it is in fact a very articulated regional gastronomic culture, which shows traces and contributions of all the cultures that have crossed Sicily over the millennia. The products used are all carefully selected, the aim is always to ensure authenticity and maximum quality.
When you wake up, the hospitality and the pleasant environment of the farmhouse will welcome you in a relaxing atmosphere, perfect to enjoy a rich breakfast with fresh fruit accompanied by freshly squeezed juices and assorted jams that will frame cakes, brioches, granitas and all the delicacies of Sicilian cuisine.

We were able to spend the last few days of our trip to Sicily at the Fattoria dei Nonni and enjoyed every second. The grounds and the swimming pool are very beautiful and well maintained. The food was simply heavenly and the hosts very friendly. We will be back!

It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
