The farmhouse is located in the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily, enclosed in the Gulf between Tindari and Milazzo, and falls within the district of the municipality of Furnari, a small hill town in the province of Messina at about 145 meters above sea level. (northern slope of Monte Croce, offshoot of the Peloritani Mountains).

The agritourism was created to enhance and bring back to its ancient splendour the 19th centurymanor house of one of the most beautiful Sicilian courts of the area, giving life to a receptive structure able to offer high quality accommodation and catering services, based on the enhancement of rural traditions and agricultural culture of Messina. At Agri farmhouse feeling at ease is the rule, not a luxury.

The old farmhouse has been converted into 11 comfortable rooms, each characterized by elegance and sobriety, as well as by construction finishes and furnishings of great historical value. All the rooms, furnished in a rustic but at the same time elegant style, are equipped with private bathroom with shower, mini-bar , air conditioning, colour television and telephone. From each room you can enjoy a splendid panorama, ranging from the hills to the sea. The accommodations range from single to triple rooms.

The farmhouse also has anoutdoor swimming pool,equipped with Jacuzzi, deckchairs and umbrellas.

The restaurant bases its strengths on the genuineness of its products and the traditional nature of its dishes. The cuisine, inspired by simplicity and tradition, enhances the dishes by exalting their colors and flavors, and follows the seasonality, with a choice aimed at enhancing the local products. From appetizers, first courses, main courses of fish or meat, to desserts, all the ingredients used come from the company or from local producers so that, even at the table, diners can experience the true flavours and smells of Sicily. The style is that of a reinterpretation of typical dishes in presentation and workmanship, paying attention to the choice of wines.

It is possible to choose the house menu, consisting of a tasting of appetizers, two samples of first courses and a second course, its side dish, and then conclude with fruit or dessert, or you can opt for the proposals of the "carte" and choose particular cuts of meat prepared in different ways. It is also possible, if agreed in advance, to take advantage of an equally rich and fragrant fish menu.

SAFE RECEPTION COVID-19

Some rules and behaviours adopted for the COVID-19 emergency:

- The manager and staff are adequately trained in the behaviour to be adopted and the measures to be put in place

- Cleaners are provided with personal protective equipment (disposable gloves, mask, etc.)

- Several stations with hand disinfectant gel are available to guests

- In the common areas all the elements that come into contact with the guests are sanitized at least twice a day

- Accommodations are cleaned, sanitized and ozonated before welcoming a new guest

- Tables are placed at least one meter apart

- Tablecloths are replaced with each guest change

- Food is served directly at the table

- All dishes, cutlery and glasses are washed and disinfected in a dishwasher.

Immersed in the green hills, the farmhouse is only 5 minutes far from the sea and 20 minutes far from the mountains, allowing to quickly reach some of the main tourist destinations of the province of Messina .

From the agriturismo it is possible to reach easily both the bathing establishments of the neighbouring town of Falcone (2 km) and the prestigious tourist port of Portorosa (3 km). Not far away there is also the small town of Tindari (6 km ), famous for its sanctuary dedicated to the Black Madonna and the Greek theatre where, in summer, theatre shows and concerts with artists and singers coming from all over the world take place.

On the Nebrodi mountains it is possible to admire the castle of Montalbano (20 km), built between 1302 and 1311 and which is part of the great Frederick's project to provide Sicily with forts to defend the territory.

The town of Milazzo (25 km) is also easy to reach and offers the best of itself during the bathing season as it has two beaches: a pebble beach to the west and a sandy beach to the east. Hydrofoils and ferries leave from Milazzo to the Aeolian Islands, which can be reached in just 30 minutes.
