The agriturismo
The organic farm is anoasis of peace in the peaceful countryside just a stone's throw from Raccuja, a charming village in the heart of the Nebrodi Mountains in northern Sicily.
It is the ideal place to leave the intense rhythms of the daily routine and allow yourself time for yourself in direct contact with nature.
The farm has a saltwater pool with whirlpool, large solarium and panoramic views.
The certified organic farm specializes in the production of hazelnuts, strawberries, extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables and the raising of Nebrodi black swine and farmyard animals. Sale of these typical products.
The accommodation
The buildings used for agritourism were built in the 1930s and have been restored while maintaining the building characteristics of the past.
The Ponte Due Archi farmhouse welcomes guests with comfortable and functional rooms, ideal for both leisure and business stays.
Guests can choose from classic rooms; in three there is a small kitchenette and two rooms are equipped for the disabled and each solution has a private bathroom, mini-bar, air conditioning and heating.
At the end of the stay each room, mattress and pillow is sanitized to guarantee a 'healthy environment to live in total safety and freedom. Room cleaning is guaranteed on a regular basis.
Every morning all guests can enjoy a hearty and wholesome breakfast , like the one their grandparents used to make before they started their hard work in the fields. Bread baked in a wood-fired oven, croissants, cakes, cookies, yogurt, as well as savory delights such as cheeses and cold cuts. And of course fruit, juices and the homemade jams.
All guests have ample outdoor spaces where they can rediscover contact with the nature that surrounds us.Great importance has been given to the use of alternative sources for energy saving, making the farm autonomous thanks to a solar thermal system and a photovoltaic one.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located:
- 20 minutes
from beautiful beaches;
- 30 minutes from the embarkation for the Aeolian Islands;
- a few kilometers from the enchanting Tindari, a tourist and religious site.
It borders the wonderful Nebrodi Park, which, with its 86,000 hectares, is the largest in Sicily.
In addition you can easily reach: MountEtna, where you can make exciting excursions and in the winter season you can ski, Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges and many other wonderful places.
