On a 2 hectare estate, the agriturismo offers 4 villas with scenic views. Breakfast is available on request, usually served outside, and comprising fresh fruit, jams, juices, honey, Primo Sale cheese and the farm’s own fresh ricotta, yoghurt, homemade sweet treats and various other culinary specialities. Guests can book dinner too, and enjoy zero mile menus, prepared using only ingredients from the farm itself, or other local artisan workshops or farms.
The agriturismo also offers a large campsite and 8 motorhome pitches with light and water hook-ups.
Gna Ciccina, Gna Nina, Gna Miniccia and Za Tresa are four villas, nestled in the Sicilian countryside, surrounded by olive trees and close to San Lorenzo beach, the Vendicari nature reserve and Marzamemi.
You’ll find a double bedroom, a single room with two children’s beds and a private bathroom. Bed linen, towels and basic kitchen items are provided. A washing machine is also available.
Outside you’ll find a patio with outdoor kitchen, dining area and lounge, and portable barbecues are provided.
All guests have access to the communal swimming pool with diving board, barbecue area, children’s play area, gazebos, the hammock under the orange tree and other facilities.
You can pick fresh seasonal fruit, vegetables, lemons, oranges, almonds, olives, medlars, mulberries, persimmons, pears, carobs, and collect water from the well (or from the tap).
The agriturismo has much to offer for guests of all ages: you can choose from a range of activities, including the harvest festival, traditional games, bread, ricotta and typical cookery classes, as you listen to the wonderful tales of the farm’s elderly residents. Nearby there is a sheepfold, from which you can enjoy fresh goat’s or sheep’s milk.
The property is located around 1 km from the Vendicari oasis with its beautiful beach, full of hides for observing various species of birds or even the sea turtles that nest here. The ancient tuna fishing village is sure to interest those who love archaeological remains. The Ionian Coast also offers fabulous beaches such as San Lorenzo, Cala Mosche, Eloro, Marianelli, Spinazza, Morghella and Portopalo di Capopassero. And on the Mediterranean Coast you’ll find even more beaches, from Carratois to Isola delle Correnti, Punta delle Formiche, Grancelli, Marza, Scarpitta and Concerie. The Cuba and Longarini marshes are interesting for their aquatic species and birds.
Just a few km away you’ll find Noto, Avola, Ispica, Rosolini, Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa. Don’t miss the Tellaro Roman villa, baroque Noto, Modica and Scicli, the seaside hamlet of Marzamemi and much more.
