The agriturismo
The agriturismo came about thanks to the passion of its owners for nature and the renovation of an old farmhouse dating back to 1884; the farm boasts a huge surface area, a garden for relaxing under the shady trees and an area dedicated to a well-tended vegetable garden that unleashes the typical aromas and colours of traditional Sicilian cuisine.
Situated in Contrada Bimmisca-Sichilli, near the Vendicari nature reserve, the agriturismo is in an excellent position with important seaside resorts, recreation, nature and cultural destinations all within easy reach.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has 7 rooms (double or triple) furnished in a sober and elegant way; they all have private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, fridge and a comfortable veranda. A daily cleaning and a linen change every 3 nights are guaranteed.
The restaurant is located in the room once dedicated to the pressing of grapes. The proposed cuisine offers the opportunity to enjoy all the taste of Sicily with traditional local dishes using as much as possible 0 km ingredients produced by the farm, such as fresh pasta prepared according to the 'old "grandmother's recipe", the pasta made in the traditional way.The cuisine offers the opportunity to taste all the flavours of Sicily with traditional Sicilian dishes using as much as possible local ingredients produced by the farm, such as fresh pasta prepared according to the old "grandmother's recipe", vegetables and aromatic herbs picked daily in the garden, oranges and lemons from the garden used for the preparation of granitas, refreshing drinks, jams or proposed as fruit at the end of the meal.
The company has a large space dedicated to agricamper,able to accommodate up to 10 locations equipped with electricity, water and waste water discharge. There is also a small communal structure equipped with bathrooms, showers with hot water and a washing machine.

Activities and surrounding
Guided trips can be booked for walks inside the Vendicari reserve, and by bike along the coast.
Vendicari is one of Europe’s leading reserves and is internationally recognised. Home to hundreds of bird species, it is also one of the few places where it is possible to see the typical Mediterranean maquis.
Plenty of beaches for relaxing days by the sea and numerous archaeological gems in the area: prehistory, Greek and Roman times with the Hellenistic settlement of Eloro, the Byzantine age with the Catacombs, Arab rule with the fortifications of Cittadella, the Middle Ages with the Sveva Tower, right up to the 18th century with the ruins of the Tonnara tuna fishing area in operation up to the Second World War.
Must-visits include: Noto, the Baroque capital city and UNESCO world heritage site; Pachino, with its tomatoes; Marzamemi, with its ancient hamlet; Portopalo, for excellent seafood and fine wines.
