The agriturismo
A few minutes from Selinunte and the sea, the agriturismo offers its guests an “old-fashioned” way of life, respecting tradition and the environment, but with modern amenities, in a group of buildings with large porches and a gazebo, and areas with tables and chairs for relaxing and free time.
The accommodation
In the silence of the countryside, amidst an unmistakable bouquet of Mediterranean aromas that blend with the sea breeze, the agriturismo has a 75-hectare organic farm with vineyards, olive groves, citrus orchards, a vegetable garden and farmyard animals.
Guests can stay in one of 16 rooms (double or triple) with every comfort.
Activities and surrounding
In addition to the play area and swimming pool, guests can enjoy tennis, archery and horse riding (3 km away). An educational farm is also open to school pupils.
The agriturismo is located on a hill with panoramic views over the Mediterranean, a stone’s throw from the mouth of the river Belice. Thanks to its location (western Sicily) between Agrigento and Trapani, it is possible to reach several tourist resorts, including the sandy beaches in Marinella and the Selinunte archaeological park, one of the largest inEurope.
In the Castelvetrano area, there are several churches to visit. The staff organises guided tours.
