The agriturismo

Our friendly and well-tended farm is enclosed in the magnificent mountain landscape of South Tyrol, in a sunny and quiet area on the countryside. Our farm is an ideal starting point for excursions in the woods or to the peaks of the Alps. With the broad offer of sports and leisure activities and recreation in the surroundings we will promise an unforgettable holiday experience throughout the whole year.

The accommodation

On our farm we offer three new traditionally equipped, comfortable apartments for 2 till 6 people. All apartments are equipped with toilet / shower, balcony, TV, kitchenette, guardrobe, towels and bed linen.

While adults can relax in the garden, admire the beautiful landscaper and inhale the fresh air of the mountains, children are allowed to play on the playground. A little hut for childre, a slide, a swing, a trampoline, a sandbox, ping pong and other playing tools. In addition inside the garde we offer a grill for barbecue evenings.

The most important on our farm are the many animals. Pet the cats, feed the chicken or come to see the calves, the ponies, the donkey, the goats, the rabbits in the stable. Barbecue evenings or cake – afternoons ( in agreement „baking with Wally – also for kids!) broaden the offer on the farm Bergerhof.

Activities and surrounding

The central location of our farm makes it possible to benefit from a variety of sports, free time and recreation offers throughout the year. The farm is located in the little village Ried, near the medieval city of Sterzing. A quiet village, where hiking is possible also in winter, with fantastic panoramic views on the snowy mountains. Alpine skiing or sledging, a lot of fun and pleasure in winter. Once a week we hike to the Prantner Alm for dinner from where we sledge through the winter paradise of the Alps.

Coziness – peace – recreation – children’s laughter – animals – nature – family – safety: this is your summer holiday on the farm Bergerhof. Rafting on the river, horse riding, mountain biking and hiking, a couple of different options for an active mountain experience. Moreover cultural highlights as the mine museum , the castles Reifenstein and Wolfsthurn, the hunt museum, the city centre of Vipiteno with medieval character, the waterfalls at Gilfenklamm gorge broaden your holiday offer.
