The agriturismo

The farm is surrounded by green meadows with a unique view of the Dolomites.

Pütia, Sasso Croce, the Puez group and Dlijia Vedla (the old parish church in La Val) are just some of the treasures to be admired from the balcony.

The proximity to the ski slopes of Plan de Corones and Sellaronda makes the farm a popular destination for skiers.

The accommodation

Thefarmhouse Ciablun, an ancient structure, recently renovated, is located at 1572m in the picturesque village of La Valle, in theAlta Badia ski resort.

Surrounded by flowering meadows and forests, with an enviable view of the Dolomites, it hosts year-round mountain lovers, seekers of the flavors of places where they can relax in contact with nature.

Thefarm is also the perfect place for family vacations. Younger guests can enjoy themselves in absolute peace in the garden with the playground. If the weather is not the best, available to guests, a playroom to spend some time in the company of other children.

An endless number of hiking, trekking and walking trails of all difficulties start directly from the farm. The owners' family is of course always available to advise guests and show them the best itineraries and activities to experience during a vacation at La Val.

 

In addition to taking care of the restaurant and the apartments, the owners devote time and love to their farm. Thanks to this great passion, guests of the farm have the opportunity to buy specialties produced directly on the farm such as homemade sausages, eggs, jams, honey, and syrups. Fresh vegetables also come from the home garden, which of course are used in the kitchen.

The farm consists of two apartments (attic) and one on the second floor, which are available throughout the year for stays in the enchanting Dolomites. The apartments are equipped with every comfort and feature traditional Ladin valley furniture using local wood, made by the village craftsmen.

All apartments consist of living room/kitchen with sofa bed, double bedroom(s) with large closet and bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and washbasin with closet. They are also fully furnished and have cutlery, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, flat-screen TV, linens, and towels.

The Ciablun farmhouse also has a ski room with boot warmers, also useful for hikers during the warm season, Wi-Fi and private parking.

Onrequest, fresh bread service is offered every morning. And for those who wish, it is also possible to book the ski bus in advance.

Activities and surrounding

One cannot think ofAlta Badia without remembering La Valle. This village, at the gateway to the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, is a jewel of rare beauty because of its scenic variety, but not only. La Val, as the Ladin-speaking inhabitants call it, is one of the few villages in Val Badia that still has traces of the rural life that was once characteristic of all of South Tyrol. The characteristic settlements "les Viles," typical products,handicrafts and ancient Ladin traditions are some of the peculiarities that La Val still proudly displays.

At 1353 m above sea level, the town's many settlements spread out on the gentle slopes of the village surrounded by enchanting places such as the Sasso Croce (Sass dla Crusc) at the foot of which the meadows of theArmentara with their extraordinary variety of flowers and orchids; the Rit meadows that alternate with larch and spruce forests; the picturesque valley that leads to the Ju de Sant'Antone; and many other places to explore by hiking and walking.

An idyllic location where you can immerse yourself in nature with body and spirit. A town that could only become the hiking paradise of Alta Badia thanks to its certification as a land of hikers.
