The agriturismo

San Martino in Badia, a village at 1,500 meters above sea level in which to recharge in the midst of nature. It is in this idyllic setting, at 1,650 meters, that the Fornellahof and La Majun are located: a traditional South Tyrolean farmhouse with modern vacation apartments made out of a barn. Their special feature? The scent of alpine herbs emanating from the walls built with real mountain hay.

The accommodation

The scent you smell in the vacation apartments is exactly that of hay flowers! No wonder, since the walls are built with hay from the Tyrolean mountains. The interiors are also all about naturalness, with elegant wooden furniture built by the landlord Helmut himself. The apartments are designed to offer the perfect synthesis of nature and contemporary comfort. All with a focus on sustainability, which for us is not just a slogan, but a duty we feel deep inside. The entire La Majun building is energy independent and built with natural materials. To know why we care so much about nature, just look out on the balcony: it is simply extraordinary!
