The Gosthof is located in Latzfons, 7 km from the town of Klausen at 1,000 m altitude. The farm offers 3 apartments and rooms with breakfast. Family Pfattner has a livestock farm and produces farm own products.

On the Gosthof live many different animals: cows, horses, donkeys, calves, cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, hens, cock, chicks, ducks, hamsters and pigs. The milk is processed into butter, plugs and yoghurt. We also have vegetables, herbs, cherries, apples, pears, plums, nuts, chestnuts and bacon.

 

 

Activities and surrounding

The Säben Abbey stands on a rock 200 m above the medieval hamlet of Klausen.The abbey is accessible through typical chestnut tree-covered landscape, especially beautiful in autumn as the leaves change colour.

The Cross of Latzfons (2400 m) is the highest pilgrimage destination in Europe, but is easily accessible for families with children too.

From the farm there are beautiful hiking trails to Feldthurns and the shelters "Stöffelehütte", "Klausnerhütte" and "Radlsee". Our guests prefer to take the hut's hike to the "Latzfonser Kreuz". But you can also visit the Dolomites, Seiseralm, Plose, Villander Alm, Zanseralm and Val Gardena.

In the evening, guests can participate in the stables. Especially the children have the possibility to feed the animals and milk a cow with the hand.
Also the offers "butter making" and "donkey ride" are in demand.

In the rainy weather the holidaymakers in the cities Bolzano, Klausen, Brixen and Merano find many different cultural offers.
