The agriturismo
Surrounded by vines, in the peaceful green countryside of S. Pietro Mezzomonte, a hamlet of Velturno with 300 inhabitants, the farm produces honey and wine. In the village you’ll find the main facilities, including a supermarket.
Located between Bressanone and Chiusa, the agriturismo is the ideal base for exploring the region’s beauty.
The accommodation
The accommodation enjoys a sunny position, and features interiors in natural materials such as wood and stone. The heating, generated using wood from the estate’s woodland, ensures warmth even during the colder months. All apartments include a fully-equipped kitchen, fridge, TV, coffee machine and toaster, sunbeds, a high chair and pram.
Bikes are available to hire upon request, as well as sleds and ice skates, and guests can enjoy fresh bread every morning. Guests are also welcome to enjoy books for free from the small library.
Your little ones will love the newly constructed play area with sandpit, tree house, slides, basket swing, trapeze, trampoline, table football, pedal tractors and more. Guests also receive a free Brixencard which offers benefits such as free public transport, a return trip on the Plose cablecar, free entrance to the Acquarena water park in Bressanone, free entrance to the local museums.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can tour the farm’s wine cellar and indulge in a spot of wine tasting.
The Plose ski resort offers 9 lifts and 40 km of ski slopes for all abilities (including the spectacular Trametsch, a 9 km descent dropping 1400 m), a 10.5 km sledging track, a host of pathways and a snowpark. In summer guests can cool off in the swimming pools in Velturno and Chiusa or the Acquarena water park in Bressanone.
A short distance away you’ll find Merano with its spa centre, Bolzano with its museum of archaeology, the Novacella abbey, the mountain communes (Velturno, Rodeneck, Fane), and the agriturismo also offers easy access to a dense network of cycle tracks leading all over the Alto Adige region. Villnöss is the perfect spot for rock climbing.
