The agriturismo
Old hay barn renovated using natural materials, sustainable building and feng shui techniques, run by Maria Grazia and Fabio. The farm raises rabbits and produces Marano di Storo corn for excellent polentas, as well as vegetables, fruit, medicinal herbs and eggs.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers five rooms with wooden ceiling, coloured clay plaster walls and simple natural furniture in wood. The heart of the house is the sitting room where guests gather to eat, chat and do cookery and yoga classes. On the ground floor is a large open fireplace for gatherings in winter evenings.
Special attention is paid to the cuisine made from the farm’s own or local organic produce and offers typical Trentino, vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as homemade bread.
Activities and surrounding
Easy to medium difficulty guided tours, suitable also for children, to the mountains of Chiese with its valleys rich in water, flora and fauna, while cycle lanes take you to Lake Idro. The more adventurous can try canyoning in the nearby Palvico river, or rockclimbing and mountain climbing through fixed-aid routes with a guide. In winter, guests can go snowshoeing or downhill skiing.
Whoever prefers to simply relax can gather herbs in the vegetable garden or the surroundings.
