Via di San Bartolomeo, 108, Romeno 38010 Romeno (Trento) Code
Originally, the Maso di San Bartolomeo, after having been an important settlement in Ancient Rome, was the seat of the Gastaldia of the Prince Bishops of Trento, then inn for travelers, and today, restored with care in respect of tradition, a place to spend a relaxing vacation in contact with nature.
An ideal place to spend a vacation in direct contact with nature, the farmhouse Maso San Bartolomeo proposes hospitality in spacious and comfortable rooms and a gracious apartment, hushed away in a rare silence and nestled in the meadows of the plateau of the Alta Val di Non.
In the inviting surroundings you may savor a lovely breakfast and typical local products, all homemade, including our marmalades, apple juice, many kinds of cakes and pies, and fresh milk.
In the spacious rooms heated with old burners you can make new friends or meet up with people for pleasant moments. In the pink room a lovely original Sfruz oven is on display, whose artisans were famous for their bravura (and still are today) throughout the Austrian–Hungarian Empire.
Near the Maso, the very ancient small church dedicated to Saint Bartholomew; a former Romanesque temple, it is a treasure with frescoes, nestled in nature. It bears witness to the farm’s long history and legend.
