The agriturismo is in the Cortona hills, in the village of Terontola Cortoreggio, set in beautiful nature, woodland and mountains. The farm spans 14 hectares, 9 of which are cultivated with olive trees, used to produce organic extra virgin olive oil. The house has been recently renovated, and features stylish furniture and a 16x8 m swimming pool (open from 15 April – 15 October), as well as a 3x3 m children’s pool. The region was made famous by the Carthaginian Hannibal, who in 217 BC gave the Romans one of the worst defeats in history at Lake Trasimeno.
The estate enjoys beautiful views stretching across the Chiana Valley and Lake Trasimeno.
The 7 apartments all boast kitchens or kitchenettes, open fires, dishwashers, whirlpool showers, telephones and satellite TVs. There are also two barbecues and a large garden where you can relax while your children play.
Farm produce is available to taste and purchase. Just a few minutes away you'll find the beautiful hamlet of Cortona, the ideal starting point for exploring Tuscany and Umbria, from Florence to Siena, Perugia, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto and Spoleto.
