The agriturismo
Agriturismo Il Sasso is a small rural hamlet nestled in the beautiful Tuscan landscape, between the enchanting valleys of the Tiber and Sovara rivers, 3 km from the medieval center of Anghiari, one of the"Most Beautiful Villages of Italy", also famous for the battle that inspired the lost work ofLeonardo Da Vinci. We are in the province of Arezzo, in Valtiberina, the "museum valley" for the evocative landscape in which Art, History, Nature are mixed.
We were looking for a place that looked like us, cozy, essential and authentic. A place to share.
We found that place in the places of our origins. And we came back here, to begin this new life that would allow us among many new experiences , to get to know many people,

The accommodation
The old stone farmhouse, renovated respecting the Tuscan tradition, has comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms and on the ground floor, the common areas: a large living room with a fireplace and a small stone room in which breakfast is served with typical Tuscan products and ingredients prepared by Silvia, the lady of the house.
In the adjoining farm outbuilding there are two rooms and two apartments, all with independent entrances.Outside: The old farmyard has been transformed into a large equipped garden , with a play area for children, ping pong table and a picnic area.
In a separate, scenic area is the 16 m x 8 m swimming pool and a sun terrace with sun loungers, overlooking the green Sovara valley.
The farm consists of 13 hectares of land. We grow wheat and sunflowers. Can't miss the vineyard, olive grove, orchard, forest and vegetable garden.
