The agriturismo
The Villa Rosa farmhouse dates back to the 14th c. In ancient times it was the most important furnace in the town, later it was turned into a convent and took the name Villa Rosa.
Nowadays, after careful restoration, it has become a pleasant place to relax and experience the countryside.
The accommodation
From the stone farmhouse have been obtained comfortable apartments, of various sizes, able to accommodate from 2 up to 8 people. The furniture is accurate in every detail following the typical Tuscan style each complete with double bedroom, kitchen with fireplace and bathroom with shower.
The apartments, which are very large, are independent and offer space for personal privacy and directly overlook a large green park, in the middle of which there is a swimming pool (7x14m) where you can cool off on hot days and find relaxation in comfortable sunbeds and under umbrellas. The property also has an outdoor stone oven with stove and refrigerator, tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
We also have mountain bikes to ride through the beautiful nearby valleys, a ping-pong table for passionate challenges, and a playground for the little ones and Internet service.
Activities and surrounding
Villa Rosa is located in Castiglion Fiorentino in the Chiana Valley, and is a perfect starting point for excursions to Tuscany and Umbria: nearby are art cities such as Arezzo, Florence, Rome, Siena, Citta' di Castello and other medieval towns.
