The farmhouse lies in the district of Reggello, between two small villages of San Donato in Fronzano and Donnini, at only 28 Km from Florence and very close to all the most beautiful Tuscan art cities. Situated at a height of 400 metres, on the slopes of the Pratomagno, it dominates the valley of the Arno, offering its visitor a view of rare beauty.

The tenants Luciano, Daniela and their daughters Elena, Ginevra, Gilda and Morgana too, take care of the estate - which has an extent of about 30 hectares - since more than ten years. Three large vineyards, from which the excellent Chianti D.O.C.G., the typical white and red table-wine, the Vin Santo and a very delicate grappa are made, are surrounded by "balzi" (terracing constructed by hand in ancient times and held firm by stone walls) on which the olives whence a pure olive oil of great quality is extracted.

Guests lodge in very comfortable apartments recently reconstructed but none-the-less filled with the typical Tuscan country-house atmosphere: the stone walls, the ceilings with the old beams, the "terracotta" bricks of the arches. Even the furnishing is antique, and it's nice to see how the antique combines itself with the functionality and comfort of an individual entrance and terrace for each apartment, a well-equipped kitchen, autonomous heating. All this is obtained while respecting as much as possible the surrounding environment and nature: hot water is obtained also with solar panels as, in the various restorations, biological materials have been used for the paints and constructions.
All the apartments have private entrance, terrace with table, chairs, deckchair and sun bed, as well as independent heating in winter.

RONDINE or VIN SANTO - Apartment for 2 people ( 33 sq.mts). Two-roomed unit consisting of bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, lounge with kitchenette and comfortable sofa-bed. "Vin Santo" has a private garden.
STALLA - Apartment for 4 people ( 60 sq.mts). Three-roomed unit consisting of lounge with kitchenette and sofa-bed. Two double bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub. Terrace with pergola.
GALLO - Apartment for 2 people (30 sq. mts.). Two-roomed unit consisting of bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, lounge with kitchenette and comfortable sofa-bed. Terrace with pergola. Beautiful view.

POLLAIO - Apartment for 4 to 5 people (60 sq.mts). Four-roomed unit consisting of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, kitchen and lounge with sofa-bed. Terrace with pergola. Beautiful view.
LOGGIA - Apartment for 6 to 8 people (65 sq. mts.). During their stay, guests will have the opportunity to experience this beautiful and yet not very popular area, its hill landscape and its intact nature. They will enjoy walking or going by mountain-bike along the C.A.I. tracks, tasting wine in our wine region "Strada del Vino Chianti Rufina e Pomino", visiting the numerous museums, discovering the local history, culture and handcraft or simply relaxing playing golf at "Poggio dei Medici".

They can organize tours for their guests all around the Mugello, Valdisieve and the Parco Naturale delle Foreste Casentinesi, such as guided excursions to the most famous cities in Tuscany, visits in the local museums, abbeys and monasteries, guided itineraries on foot, on horseback or by bike, or even shopping tours to the most important fashion outlets about 10 km. far away from the farm.

They also offer to their guests ceramic and cooking courses. Guests will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Tuscan landscape its coast and its islands flying on Cessna C-172 or Mooney M20J planes piloted by the farm owner himself.
They usually organize tasting of their own products as well as guided tours to the farm cellars.
In the Fattoria is possible to have breakfast and dinner always based on typical Tuscan menus.
