The enchanting rural hamlet still preserves intact the relaxed atmosphere of the past. Inside, the two residential buildings, Podere Cappella and Villa Proneta, about 300m from each other, both have a large panoramic swimming pool and each has four large and comfortable apartments.
Next to the pool of Cappella there is a tennis court. The authenticity of the landscape and the structure make it particularly suitable for families with children.
The accommodation
Located on the first floor, Cappella 1 is in the beautiful inner courtyard where Cappella 2 and 3 are also located. From the ground floor two flights of stairs lead to a private covered loggia of 5 square metres with table and small barbecue. The loggia is partially enclosed by panoramic windows that shelter it from the wind and make it ideal for eating your meals in peace and quiet even in the less hot periods.
From the loggia a glass door opens onto the living/dining room with fireplace and panoramic windows. A door to the left of the living area opens onto the well-appointed eat-in kitchen, complete with gas stove, electric oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Another door opens onto a corridor leading to the double bedroom, to the twin bedroom and to the two bathrooms with shower box. In one of the bathrooms there is a washing machine.
Cappella 2 is also located within the main courtyard. The entrance, from the private loggia terrace with small barbecue, opens onto two doors, the first on the kitchen complete with accessories such as refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, the second on the dining room.
The dining room leads to two large double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The view from the rooms of this apartment, which faces west towards the valley of Barberino and Tavarnelle, is particularly suggestive.

Quercia al Poggio is situated at about 400 metres above sea level, in Monsanto, in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa. The farm owned by the Rossi family covers an area of 100 hectares: a natural reserve rich in woods where vines and olive trees are cultivated according to the criteria of organic farming. The farm centre is a 19th century rural farming village and partly a former convent of the Vallombrosani friars of the nearby Badia a Passignano. Since 1997 Michela and Vittorio have started a deep renewal of the winery, starting from the gradual replanting of 15 hectares of vineyards, to the arrangement of the cellars and the introduction of a selection of medium sized woods carefully chosen to preserve the original characteristics of Sangiovese and other traditional native grape varieties present in the winery.
