The 'hospitality is offered in the accommodations located in two different areas of the estate, 200 meters apart.

In the first part is our beautiful country villa called "Il Casale." The villa is an 'old stone house, expertly restored and an apartment: "House of the Sun," for atotal of 14 3 beds. In the large garden: private pool, barbecue area and pergola.

In a second area are the independent dwellings of "Il Borghetto," as well as a "Glamping tent" close to the woods, for a total of 19 3 beds. In the gardens : private pool, barbecue, laundry, and a pergola with communal kitchen.

Our Agriturismo Fontenuova (5 sunflowers - max classification in Agriturismo), inserted in the organic farm of 30 hectares, crossed by the river Albegna and the ancient Roman road "Via Clodia" is located in the Tuscan Maremma in Saturnia near the Spa, the famous waterfalls of the Mill and the Golf courses; in a naturalistic context of incomparable beauty and in a splendid panoramic position. Set in the Natural Park of the Albegna River. The farmhouse is located in an area classified SIC (Site of Community Interest) and has all the requirements, as well as environmental ones, for an eco-sustainable hospitality.

The Dwellings, in a warm country atmosphere, are equipped with every comfort and cared for in the furnishings. They enjoy large terraces and outdoor spaces . The two swimming pools face the magnificent landscape.

Our countryside is particularly peaceful though close to the ancient walls of the town of Saturnia, which can also be reached on foot.

The Farmhouse

Arriving from the parking lot, set at a higher level than the house, one descends a flight of Roman stone steps and finds oneself in a small porch onto which the main entrance door opens. On the opposite side of the house is another porch, enclosed by a sliding glass door, furnished with sofas and tables for dining. In the grassy space in front is the barbecue area and outdoor living area overlooking the beautiful wooded valley.

The rooms are spacious, with exposed beams and are developed in a refined and charming country atmosphere: meeting places, fireplaces, the breakfast and dining room; large equipped spaces for outdoor living.

The "ROSETO," a pleasant paved and covered wooden structure surrounded by roses for outdoor dining and celebrations.

THERE ARE 2 DOUBLE ROOMS WITH SHOWER BATHROOM, 2 DOUBLE ROOMS AND SINGLE BED WITH SHOWER BATHROOM AND A SUITE WITH DOUBLE BED BATH AND 2 SINGLE BEDS IN THE ATTIC.
EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND LARGE LIVING ROOMS.

ALTOGETHER THE FARMHOUSE HAS 14 BEDS.

In the "Casa del Sole," 50 m. from the farmhouse, an additional 3 beds are available in a spacious accommodation with kitchenette, bathroom/shower, terrace and garden.

The Borghetto

It is a complex of a few buildings set in a panoramic position in a beautiful landscape setting: the Casaletto, the Villino, the Casetta, the Pergola, and the Glamping.

The Casaletto

Built in local stone, it retains the image of an old country house; there are terraced gardens surrounding it, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Access to the dwellings is via a flowery pathway from which the entrances to the individual rooms branch off.The interiors are finished with chestnut fixtures, athermic glass, functional and modern furniture in a cozy and elegant atmosphere.
Inside 4 spacious BEDROOMS WITH DOUBLE BEDROOM BATHROOM SHOWER SOFA BED AND KITCHEN CORNER .
The rooms can also be booked separately.

The place is particularly quiet and characterized by dense vegetation; a starting point for excursions up to the Albegna River or into the woods. Under a centuries-old oak tree is the swimming pool surrounded by lawn.

Access to the dwellings is via a flowery path from which the entrances to the rooms branch off.
The interiors are finished with chestnut fixtures, athermic glass, functional and modern furniture in a cozy and elegant atmosphere; all rooms with kitchenette. Outside, a large terrace and garden.

The Little House

It is an old stone building recently renovated, near a centuries-old oak tree. Inside there is ONE DOUBLE BEDROOM WITH SHOWER BATHROOM; outside a large paved TERRACE and private GARDEN. Internally the ceilings are arranged with wooden beams and terracotta tiles as well as the ancient Tuscan tradition.

The Villino

Newly built, close to the woods, enjoys the privilege of complete independence, with large GARDEN with lawn and shaded TERRACES and BARBECUE area. Inside there is ONE DOUBLE BEDROOM, ONE BEDROOM WITH 2 BEDS, A LIVING ROOM WITH SOFA BED, EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND 2 BATHROOMS WITH SHOWER, supplied with: oven, dishwasher and washing machine. One or more rooms in the Casaletto can be combined with the Villino to increase the availability of beds.

La Pergola

In a panoramic position near the dwellings, it is a pleasant building made with an attached kitchen for breakfasts, lunches and dinners or even for meeting and celebrating together; barbecue and a picnic area complete the facilities.

The Glamping

Close to the forest a glamping tent for those who love living in nature.

In Saturnia, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, just a few steps from the Terme di Saturnia spa and golf courses, the Fontenuova farm holiday centre is located in a unique and panoramic position, immersed in a naturalistic context of incomparable beauty, characterised by a hilly landscape where cultivated fields mingle with woods and Mediterranean scrub.

The company is inserted in the Natural Park of the Albegna River, recognized as a site of particular interest by the European Community.

Both inside and outside the estate the possibilities available to guests are many:

INSIDE THE FARM

It is possible to make excursions along paths in the woods and through the Mediterranean maquis or along the green banks and rocky gorges of the Albegna river, to discover a unique and uncontaminated environment. Along the way, you are likely to encounter pheasant , porcupines , roe deer, wild boar and spot buzzards and herons. On the bank of the river Albegna, moreover, there is a thermal bath with water at 30° where you can take pleasant baths in every season.

OUTSIDE THE WALLS

At the foot of the town, in the pools of the Terme diSaturnia and in the natural waterfalls, the famous sulphurous waters flow out at 37°C, allowing pleasant outdoor bathing for 12 months a year. In the surrounding area there are also golf courses and itineraries of all kinds, suitable for hiking or horseback riding.

SURROUNDINGS

In the surrounding area, within a radius of 10/30 km, there are a number of archaeological, naturalistic and sports itineraries, through which you can discover the beauty of the area, visiting the medieval villages of Montemerano, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana.

A little further away, about an hour's drive, you will find Lake Bolsena and the most significant places of the fascinating Etruscan civilization, such as Vulci, Tuscania and Tarquinia; the WWF Oasis of Lake Burano, Capalbio, the Garden of Tarot Cards and the Park of Uccellina.

At 40 km the Fauna Park, the woods and the ski slopes of Monte Amiata.

And in spring and summer there are also many initiatives that animate the area: events, festivals and food festivals with plenty of local products.

SATURNIA AND THE SEA OF ARGENTARIO

In the daytime, you can also take a trip to the sea: Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano, the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago and various beaches for sunbathing, fishing or boating.

THE CITIES OF ART

Also the most famous art cities of central Italy are easily reachable: Rome (km 170), Siena (km 115), Florence(km 187), Pisa (km 212),Orvieto(km 75).
