The agriturismo

Pian Del Vescovo is a family-run farmhouse in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.

It has apartments distributed in two cottages with swimming pool with Jacuzzi , can accommodate up to 18/20 guests. It is located 3 km (5 minutes) from the city of art of Massa Marittima, now famous throughout Europe for the Piazza del Duomo, and 15 km (20 minutes) from the sea, in the lush plain from which it takes its name, in a position of great privilege in the territory.

The accommodation

The farmhouse, as documented since the Middle Ages and then in the sheets of 1500, stands on the ruins of the ancient summer residence of the Bishop of the Diocese of Massa and Populonia.

It is a completely renovated complex that consists of four apartments:

3 two-room apartments of 45 square meters able to accommodate up to 4 people each in the first cottage, and the main house of 75 square meters in the second cottage.

The Casa dell'Alba is a two-roomed apartment of 45 sqm consisting of a large living room of 22 sqm with fully equipped kitchen, large double bedroom of 15 sqm and comfortable bathroom of 5 sqm.

La Casa dell 'Ombra is a two-roomed apartment of 45 sqm composed of a large living room of 22 sqm with fully equipped kitchen, large double bedroom of 15 sqm and comfortable bathroom of 5 sqm.

The House of the Sun is a two-roomed apartment of 45 square meters consisting of a large living room of 22 sqm with kitchen, large double bedroom of 15 sqm and comfortable bathroom of 5 sqm.

The Master House of 75 sqm occupies the entire Casolare del Viandante. It is possible to accommodate single guests, couples, families and groups up to 6 people. The Casa del Viandante is basically composed of two apartments with a large living room in common. The two apartments, which if necessary are completely autonomous as they have a separate entrance, are mirror apartments consisting of: large double bedroom of 15 sqm with a bathroom of 5 sqm. The common living room with fully equipped kitchen is 25 sqm. Satellite TV is in the two bedrooms and in the living room. The Viandante apartment is located in front of the large swimming pool.

Activities and surrounding

Excursions along the natural paths marked by the rivers Pecora and Cornia, or an evocative route through the Parco Minerario, or the rediscovery of the overlapping traces of the Mines in the Land of Silver, will also allow you to reach the most hidden and characteristic medieval villages of the Metalliferous Hills.

The beaches of the Gulf, the lake of karstic origin of Accesa, the Monte Cornate, are only the nearest places and reachable in a few minutes.

In addition, of course, the historic center of Massa Marittima, which requires a visit not hasty, and that in summer is a privileged place of many events.

The nearest railway stations are those of Campiglia and Follonica, while the nearest airports are those of Florence and Pisa.
