Podere Le Ghiande is a typical farmhouse of the Tuscan countryside restored respecting its primitive architecture and furnished according to the local tradition.
The complex consists of a central structure "Il Podere" and two outbuildings "Il fienile" and "Il Granaio"
. The Podere is located on a high hill 720 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Monte Penna Regional Natural Park suspended between the Val d'Orcia and the Maremma, is surrounded by its own gardens and is immersed in an endless sea of natural meadows and Mediterranean woods.
The hills, the small mountain reliefs, the variety of vegetation and the territory make this place unique.
Our accommodation capacity is 25/30 beds and is divided into 10 three-room and two-room apartments.
All apartments have outdoor space with related furniture and the kitchens are fully equipped.
In the property there is a swimming pool (15x8 mt.) organized with solarium and outdoor furniture, indoor parking and a barbecue area
. In agreement with the farmhouse it is possible to make several experiences including:
-wine, oil and cheese tasting;
-truffle hunting;
-relaxing days at the spa

the peculiar position are ideal historical and cultural excursions in the surrounding towns and villages: Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Orvieto, Lake Bolsena, Terme di Saturnia, Terme di San Filippo, Terme di Bagno Vignoni, Monte Amiata (all centers can be reached with 20/35 minutes by car).
In addition, the proximity to the Via Francigena makes Podere Le Ghiande a convenient base for excursions to the great historical cities of central Italy ( Florence, Rome, Siena, Perugia, Viterbo).
