Old stone farmhouse completely renovated placed on a hill in a dominant and panoramic position with wide views over the Maremma GrossetanaBrunello hills and Monte Amiata.
The farm, with organic certification, covers about 15 hectares with crops mainly olive trees.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has ancient origins: it was the residence of the noble Pierazzi family, as evidenced by the coat of arms still visible on its facade.
It is 2 km from the town of Civitella Marittima, 30 km from Montalcino, 40 km from the sea and from Siena and consists of threeindependentapartments, with separate entrances and private spaces.
La Cisterna: the name has been attributed to the presence of an ancient cistern still used today for the collection of rainwater. In front of the apartment, the furnished veranda offers breathtaking views! The apartment, of about 40 square meters, is located on the ground floor and consists of an entrance hall with dining table and sofa, romantic double bedroom, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink, wrought iron bunk bed for any children and pellet stove for the winter. Finally, the apartment has a private garden, completely fenced and with a personal barbecue.
The Courtyard: it owes its name to a small romantic courtyard in front of the entrance, with a wonderful veranda with table and chairs. The apartment, about 40 square meters, is located on the ground floor and consists of an entrance hall with dining table and sofa, a very special room with stone wall, double bed and an old window inside, small kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink and pellet stove for the winter period. Finally, the apartment has a wonderful pergola with barbecue, table and chairs.
Gli Archi: owes its name to three beautiful arches, which surround the panoramic veranda in front of the entrance. The apartment, located on the first floor and accessed through an imposing stone staircase, measuring 150 square meters and consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room with 3 sofas and fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, freezer). Each room is particularly spacious. In the apartment there is also a wood-burning fireplace for the production of hot air and a pellet stove, to enjoy, in winter, the warmth of the fire and a romantic atmosphere. The apartment is completed by a large garden with pergola, table, chairs and a walled barbecue, all for exclusive use.
