The agriturismo
Podere Mulinaccio, a holiday farm with camping facilities, has a real commitment to ecology. It is located in a strategic position for those wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Maremma countryside, spend their days at the seaside, the lake or at the hot springs, or visit naturalistic, archaeological or historic sites. We have three apartments Each apartment can accommodate max four adults. The farmer holidays Podere Mulinaccio has also a camping. An area of our farm is dedicated for those who love camping and outdoor holidays, living simple, do it yourself. regularly organized, with its service, pitches for caravan, roulotte and tents. The camping is near to the house, but still close to the wood. You can like the countryside and be protect by the trees.
The accommodation
We have three apartments in our farm holidays where our guests can spend their holidays peacefully in the country side of Maremma: L’Armigero, il Bracconiere ed il Carbonaio. All are recovered accommodations from an ancient building. Each apartment can accommodate max four adults; if you need, two of them can communicate. Opposite to the apartments there is a common canopy. Each of them is composed by a bedroom, bathroom, equipped kitchen and sofa-bed for 2 people. We apply energy-saving, and the thermal energy is produced by solar panels and wood of our forest. We produce extra virgin olive oil, wine and vegetables.
Activities and surrounding
It is possible reach after few kilometers beautiful beaches and great naturalistic interest, like Castiglione della Pescaia, Parco della Sterpaia near Follonica, the Accesa Lake and Castel di Pietra (castle where a story of Pia dei Tolomei from Siena takes place). The Natural Park of Maremma is a protect area 25 km big where it is possible take part in beautiful trekking. The Diaccia Botrona is a big swamp with many species of birds where you can do bird watching. There are many opportunities for open air activities and sports. for the horse riding enthusiasts amongst our guests, and trekking, bicycle touring, mountain bike expeditions, climbing on the nearby cliffs and archery within the woods are all available.
