we read with great regret the review that you sent us and published on Agriturismo.it regarding your booking (arrival at the property and almost immediate departure, after not even half an hour!). It says that the environment is not very loving and worn out (quote words). If only he had the patience and courtesy and, if he had given us the time to visit everything else, he would have certainly noticed what beautiful and pleasant our structure could offer during his stay with us: the wonderful swimming pool surrounded by oleanders in bloom (as all the guests who have come to us so far have defined), the garden with genuine products, which he could use for free: the visit to the animals that children like very much and that surely would have liked yours too; the green of the vast lawns, bordered by vineyards and olive groves; the quiet, the silence, the tranquillity of being in the middle of nature that our guests continue to appreciate; and why not, also the kindness, the friendliness and the smile with which we love to welcome our guests.
I don't deny that the window handle was broken, but since it was Saturday (day of many departures and arrivals) we didn't have time to notice it and, therefore, we could have fixed it: it would have been our care to solve the problem as soon as possible (you didn't give us the time). As for, instead, what you call "yard", unfortunately, because of Covid-19, we had to resume the renovation work, near your place, around the 10th of July. However, as you have certainly seen, the works had been secured.
A little more patience and understanding would have been enough (sometimes it can be done).
With regard to the return of half of the deposit, perhaps I would have done better to tell you that I would not have refunded it (which I could have done) or perhaps tell you that you could have used the full amount of the deposit on another occasion, within the year. We have had a lot of guests after you and, frankly, a busy mind and a lot to do, but, believe us, we have not forgotten you.
There may have been other ways than the one you used to clarify the facts.
Certainly, and we say this with great regret, we did not like the fact that we lost a 0.3 in the general evaluation. Also because we had gained a score of 8.9 thanks to very good reviews from our guests.
However, we were extremely happy that you found an oasis of paradise in Pomarance (a country that I know very well, by the way).
We hope to see each other again and perhaps take a little more time to get to know our wonders.
