The estate is just 5 km. from the blue sea of the Costa degli Etruschi and the white fine sandy beaches of the Gulf of Follonica: Torre Mozza, Carbonifera, la Sterpaia and Perelli. Here you can pass the day on a free beach or rent umbrella and sun beds and have lunch at a small fish restaurant by the sea.
Otherwise, for those who enjoy nature, you can visit the Val di Cornia natural parks of Baratti and Populonia, Rimigliano, Montioni, the Sterpaia and the Parco Archeominerario di San Silvestro and follow the naturist, artistic and archaeological trails.

San Vincenzo (km. 24): seaside town on the Tyrrhenian coast with an excellent tourist marina. Its fine white sandy beach is bordered by tens of kilometres of dense Mediterranean woodland.
Campiglia Marittima (km. 14): small hill top town, once medieval village has many cultural activities and numerous archaeological sites well worth a visit.
Venturina (km. 11): already famous in Etruscan times, the water from its hot springs averages 38ºC and supply the Calidario thermal baths, set in splendid historical surroundings. They are equipped with the best facilities for relaxation and physical/mental well being and are open all year round. Our guests are eligible for a reduction at reception.
Populonia (km. 15): an ancient Etruscan city-state, situated on a hill top overlooking the enchanting Gulf of Baratti. The Baratti and Populonia archaeological site is one of the most important Etruscan historical sites with traces of the ancient iron industry and some of the most significant examples of monumental tombs.
Suvereto (km. 20): splendid medieval village is over 1,000 years old and is set on the side of a hill in the green Cornia valley overlooking the sea. Rich in history and art, it is a real jewel.
Massa Marittima (km. 25): has a beautiful central square, Piazza Garibaldi, which is surrounded by the romanic cathedral, the Palazzo dei Priori and the Palazzo del Comune.
A visit to the Cala Violina is a must. Situated between the Puntone di Scarlino and Punta Ala, it can only be reached by signposted paths. His name is derived from the sound made when walking on its beautiful white sands which is similar to that made by a violin.
If you are a golf player you can enjoy two 18th holes golf courses:
Punta Ala Golf Club (km. 30): it has a fine sea view and a gentle, naturally undulating landscape set in the middle of Maremman woodland, which makes beautiful and natural obstacle for the golfer.
Golf Club Toscana (km. 25): near Gavorrano, offers a good challenge either for high or low handicap players.
