Agriturismo Il Paradiso is housed in an old farmhouse surrounded by greenery completely renovated with a large stone yard and parking space. It has two independent apartments, each composed of a largedouble bedroom, kitchen-living room and bathroom with bath or shower. The apartments are equipped with kitchenware and linen for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.
Among the beauties and the historical heritage of Lunigiana, between Tuscany and Emilia, a country house in a beautiful quiet and reserved position, but still a few minutes from the center of town. The large and comfortable apartments have been renovated by the owner, an architect, with particular attention to the preservation of the original spaces and materials; the apartment "Le Cellette" even has a studio in what was originally the accommodation of the monks who lived here.
The two apartments are:
Le Cellette: lovely attic obtained in what was originally a monastery, exposed beams, skylights on the roof, large double bedroom, bathroom with tub, kitchen / living room and two living rooms obtained in the cells in addition to a storage room.
Il Fienile: attic apartment composed of large double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
The apartments have peculiar furnishings and characteristics that make them unique and not at all standardized.
Pontremoli is in the province of Massa Carrara and is about 50 km (all by freeway) from places like Cinque Terre and Forte dei Marmi.
From the airports of Pisa and Genoa you can reach Pontremoli with about an hour of highway.
The house is about 1 km from the center of town, once you take via Borgo Vecchio (or Costa San Nicolò) you arrive in a few minutes.
Pontremoli itself is a town rich in history, culture and traditions such as that of bonfires, is home to the prestigious Bancarella Prize and is a land of mushrooms, testaroli, torte d'erbi and 1000 other culinary delights.
From here you can make wonderful excursions on the Apennines, visit the many castles of Lunigiana, the churches or natural sites such as the Stretti di Giaredo or can be a convenient stop along the Via Frangigena.
