5 km from Volterra, in a hilly spot in one of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Tuscany, an organic farm with a farmhouse and former hayloft dating back to the 1700s, a new building and a fully renovated cottage, all surrounded by olive trees, a stunning flower-filled garden and a scenic swimming pool with sun terrace.
The accommodation
This family-run organic farm spreads over 5 hectares cultivated using natural methods without the use of pesticides, filled with fruit and olive trees, coppiced woodland and Mediterranean shrubland rich in wild flora and native fauna.
The farm produces extra virgin olive oil which is available for agriturismo guests to taste.
Guest accommodation is provided in 13 independent apartments: 3 one-room apartments, 3 two-room apartments and 7 three-room apartments, all with well-equipped kitchens, bathrooms with showers and the option to add a child’s bed, as well as use of the communal laundry room.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo’s central location offers easy access to major cities of art such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni, Florence, Lucca and Pisa, and to the beaches of the Etruscan Coast.
Lovers of sport and wellbeing will enjoy the nearby riding centre for horseback excursions, and the stunning local wellbeing centre, spa and natural hot springs.
