The agriturismo
Situated in a scenic location between the Berignone Nature Reserve, the Rocca di Sillano and Volterra, the organic farm offers, in a family atmosphere, hospitality in a typical Tuscan farmhouse dating back to 1824. The agriturismo-agricamping, which sports 5 sunflowers in the Tuscany Region rankings, was born from a family choice by Laura, Claudio and their three children to lead a healthy rural life.

The accommodation
Hospitality is offered in two large apartments. The Rondine is the largest, developed on two floors consisting of an entrance on the ground floor, a living room kitchen, two large bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside private garden with table, chairs and deckchairs with fabulous views of Volterra. Il Rose offers beautiful views of Volterra and the Berignone nature reserve, consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with fireplace and large private garden.

The agriturismo is located in the Upper Cecina Valley, a region rich in beautiful landscape and nature. Ideal for those who love trekking and relaxing walks, you?ll find a wealth of trails through the nearby Berignone-Tatti and Monterufoli-Caselli nature reserves. The area is also a treasure trove of history, art, culture and fine food and wine, just waiting to be discovered. You can also visit Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa, the region?s quaint medieval hamlets, and the popular beach resorts of the Etruscan Coast, just 40-60 minutes away.

We stayed there for two days and enjoyed the time out very much. The host family is very welcoming, you feel at home in the midst of beautiful nature. The menu offered by the family twice a week was very tasty, you can taste the hearty cuisine. We would come back at any time.
